Extract a Phone Number from Text Using the "Extract Phone Number" Text Helper

Keragon’s Extract Phone Number Text Helper allows you to easily extract phone numbers from text inputs. This is especially useful when processing user inputs, messages, or form submissions that contain phone numbers.

How to Use the Extract Phone Number Text Helper

  • Open your workflow editor.

  • Click the + icon to add a new step.

  • In the step selection panel, click "Helpers".

  • From the Helpers options, select "Text Helpers".

  • Choose the "Extract Phone Number" action.

  • Click the Text input field.

  • Use the Variable Selector to map the text value where the phone number is located.

  • Configure the Phone Number Format field as needed (e.g., international or local formats).

  • Click "Save" to apply changes.

  • Click "Test Step" to preview the result.

  • Go to the Outputs tab to view the extracted phone number.

Example Result: From the text Contact me at (123) 456-7890, the helper extracts 1234567890.
