How to find your API key in Jotform

Learn how to connect JotForm and Keragon.

1. Click on the profile icon

In your Jotform dashboard locate and click on the profile icon in the top right corner.

2. Click "Settings"

Navigate to Settings.

3. Click "API"

Access the API section from the menu

Click 'API'

4. Click "Create New Key"

Generate a new API key

Click 'Create New Key'

5. Select "Full Access"

Make sure to enable the Full Access in permissions to grant full access. This is a crucial step and without it you will run into errors.

6. Copy your API key

7. Switch to "app.keragon.com"

Switch to your Keragon app to create a new Jotform authentication

Switch to 'app.keragon.com'

8. Select your account type

Make sure to select the correct account type. For example, if you Jotform account is HIPAA compliant you must select the HIPAA option otherwise you'll run into errors. If you are unsure what account type you have you can ask our team or your Jotform representative.
