How to get your API credentials in Cerbo

To connect Cerbo with Keragon, you must generate secure credentials via the API User Management Console. This process ensures that external applications can securely access your EHR data without using standard staff login credentials.

API user management is accessed in the Admin > Manage > Integrations menu. Select API User Management at the very top of the Integrations window. From here, you can see a list of existing API user credentials and create new ones.

Required Credentials
You will need to provide three specific pieces of information:

  • API Username / Public Key: A unique identifier for the integration (often starts with 'pk_').
  • Secret Key: A private password for the integration.
Note: This is only shown once during creation.
  • Subdomain: The Cerbo subdomain of your workspace URL is correct. For example, if your workspace URL is https://practicenameemr.md-hq.com, you should ONLY type the subdomain here.
    e.g. practicenameemr
