Prerequisites
Before connecting your Dialpad account, ensure that:

You have an active Dialpad account with Company Admin privileges.

You have access to the Admin Settings in Dialpad.
Setup Guide
Follow these steps to connect your Dialpad account:

Log in to your Dialpad account as a Company Admin.

Navigate to Admin Settings > My Company > Authentication > API Keys.

Click Add Key.

Provide a name for the API key and configure the expiration terms.

Select any Additional Scopes your integration will require.

Click Save.

Copy the newly generated API key and securely store it.

In Keragon, go to the Dialpad connector setup screen and paste your API key into the designated field.

Click Connect to complete the integration.

Note: For security reasons, never share your full API key. In case of support issues, only provide the last 4 characters of the key.
Troubleshooting and Common Errors
Error Message | Cause | Suggested Fix |

401 Unauthorized |
Invalid or expired API key | Regenerate the API key and update it in Keragon connector settings. |
403 Forbidden |
Insufficient API key scopes or unauthorized user | Ensure the API key includes all required scopes and is created by a Company Admin. |

Server-side issue in Dialpad or misconfigured integration | Retry after some time or contact Dialpad support. |
Limitations and Notes

Only Company Admins can generate and manage API keys.

API keys allow access across all users in the company; treat them with high security.
