How to find your API Keys, Personal Access Tokens, or OAuth 2.0 Client Credentials of an application

One of the first steps to integrate your applications and start creating your automation workflows is to locate and utilize the right credentials. In this guide, we'll show you how to find and access API keys, personal access tokens, or OAuth 2.0 client credentials from your desired application, enabling the integration with Keragon.

  1. Log Into Your Application: Begin by logging into the application you wish to integrate with. Ensure you have administrative or developer access to access the necessary settings.
  2. Navigate to Settings or Account: Once logged in, navigate to your account settings or a designated section that handles integrations. This is often labeled as "API," "Integrations," or similar.
  3. Look for API Keys, Credentials, or Tokens: Within the settings or integrations section, search for options related to API keys, credentials, personal access tokens, or OAuth 2.0 client credentials. These terms may vary based on the application.
  4. Generate or Retrieve Credentials: Depending on the application, you might have the option to generate new credentials or retrieve existing ones. If generating, follow any prompts to create the desired type of credential like API key, access token, client credentials (Client ID and Client Secret) etc.
  5. Copy Your Credentials: Once you have your API key, personal access token, or OAuth 2.0 client credentials, copy them to your clipboard using the copy shortcut (Ctrl+C or Command+C).
  6. Return to Your Keragon Dashboard: Use the paste shortcut (Ctrl+V or Command+V) to insert the copied credentials to their respective fields in Keragon.
